Kate Budd is the Executive Director with the Council for the Homeless and oversees planning, advocacy and solutions to prevent and end homelessness throughout Clark County. Prior to Kate’s current role she served as Deputy Director for the same agency, Homeless Programs Coordinator with Clark County Community Services and as a Program Coordinator with Oregon Housing and Community Services. On a statewide level, Kate serves as the co-chair of the WA Low-Income Housing Alliance Homelessness Advisory Committee and has been active in the planning of the annual homelessness conference. Kate is also Chair of the Healthy Living Collaborative policy committee, member of the Accountable Communities of Care Regional Health Improvement Plan (RHIP) Council and active in LGBTQ advocacy. She is a proud AmeriCorps alumni, holds a Master of Social Work from Eastern Washington University, and was honored to receive the 2017 Leadership Clark County outstanding alumnus award (2016 graduate).
