Joshua Jones is a dynamic leader whose career is defined by a passion for building bridges and solving complex problems, and is a proud graduate of Leadership Clark County’s Class of 2022. As the Director of Business Development for Merryman Power, he channels his experience in workforce development and community engagement to forge strategic partnerships, expand market presence, and drive sustainable growth for clients and the community.
Before joining Merryman Power, Josh dedicated over 11 years to the nonprofit sector in a variety of leadership roles. His experience is marked by a unique blend of program development at Partners in Careers, operational management at Soul River, strategic consulting with Community Roots Collaborative, and Business Development for Machinists Institute. He has spearheaded workforce development programs fostering economic mobility and social equity, managed experiential education initiatives, and developed operating procedures for organizations throughout our community.
Josh is the Chairman of the Historic Trust’s Leadership Committee and Chairman for the Washougal School District’s Career & Technical Education Committee. In addition to serving on the Board of Directors for Leadership Clark County, he also serves on the Board of Directors for Lower Columbia Fish Enhancement Group, the Boys and Girls Club Taskforce for violence-affected youth, and recently joined the Board of Columbia River Mental Health to assist in a strategic transition ensuring continuity of essential services. In recognition of his community involvement, Josh was honored with the Historic Trust’s General George C. Marshall Leadership Award in 2023.
