Carissa Kerrissey is a career and leadership coach, educator, and facilitator dedicated to creating spaces of dignity and belonging that strengthen communities, unlock potential, and inspire purposeful leadership. Drawing from her lived experience growing up in communities impacted by trauma, she has spent nearly two decades empowering historically marginalized populations to amplify their voices, build agency, and lead meaningful change. She is the founder of Future Forward Careers, where she partners with educators and organizations to design sustainable pathways for professional and personal growth.
Carissa holds a B.A. in History with an Urban Teacher Certification and a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction. She is honored to serve on the Leadership Clark County Board to help inspire a new generation of leaders committed to inclusion, connection, and community wellbeing. Outside of work, Carissa finds her greatest joy in raising her three daughters, who inspire her daily and remind her of the importance of living presently. In her free time, she loves being outdoors—floating a river, camping in the wilderness, or exploring the many hiking trails of the Pacific Northwest.
