Community Leadership Speaker Series

To foster community and leadership, LCC launched the Community Leadership Speaker Series to provide an opportunity for LCC alumni, current classmates and the general public to connect directly to fellow community leaders in an intimate setting.

Leadership Speaker Series events are also designed to encourage informal dialogue and participant engagement as featured speakers share their insights regarding key issues affecting Clark County and their personal approach to leadership.

This program is held two to three times each year, allowing community leaders to engage with and help us learn about their leadership goals, challenges and opportunities.

Each session brings a unique community focus on subjects such as local government, education and more.

Sessions also include a continental breakfast and run approximately 90 minutes in length. Seating is limited, purchase your tickets early.

Please check the upcoming event section for updates on our next Leadership Speaker Series event.

Upcoming Events

Join us for a special edition of the Community Leadership Speaker Series. The special edition is scheduled for Friday, June 16 from 7:30 am - 9:00 am at the Pacific Continental Bank community room on 101 East 6th Street. Only 32 tickets will be sold for this event.

The featured community leaders are Jennifer Rhoads, President, Community Foundation for Southwest Washington, Paul Speer, Partner at Social Venture Partners, Jeanne Kojis, Executive Director, Nonprofit Network Southwest Washington, and Phoebe Kruger, Vice President, Relationship Banking Officer, Pacific Continental Bank. They will share their insights on community giving trends, approaches, challenges and opportunities, and discuss ways people can leverage their own unique resources (time, talent, and treasure) to help create a better community.

Leaders in our community are doing great things to improve where we live, work and raise our families. Show your support for these leaders, get informed on challenges that impact our communities and share what you learn with others. Much like a town hall meeting, individuals can engage face to face with local leaders and hear their messages first hand.

Tickets are $20 each and include a light continental breakfast. Purchase your tickets today!
